Let's talk exhaust

I've been looking into the Flowmaster (after the cat) for my 03 4Runner and was told by the service manager at the dealership that it *could* possibly cause problems with the emisions, bla bla bla and void my warrenty.

Basically it's just a muffler replacement and a new peice of pipe after the cat so how could I screw anything up???? I'm completely happy with the performance (245 hp 6 cylinder) so it's not like I really need more speed.

Jeez, been at the forum a mere 2 days and allready looking to mod!

Complete hogwash (nice word huh?). Removing anything after the cat (besides maybe the 02 sensor) will NOT affect emissions or warranty. You are protected by law. If the aftermarket part directly causes a malfunction, then yes you will have to eat the cost.

The service manager is wrong, and feeding you false information. Plain and simple.

Get that exhaust!
