I have an idea.... replace the broken leaf with a new one. And what does 'one leaf gonna' mean?

I would check the classifieds on this board for someone near you who might be parting out a truck like yours. Also check www.car-part.com
Be cautious if you drive it around with the broken leaf. Shouldnt cause you too much trouble but if the leaf spring centre bolt is also broken then you risk the chance of the axle moving in directions it shouldnt.
If the leaf in question is the very bottom leaf (second stage)then normal driving withhout any load will be fine, since the second stage only does work when carry heavy stuff. Actually, are you sure its broken? The second stage naturally appears to be separated from the rest of the pack....
Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Might as well get some Alcans: http://www.alcanspring.com/ They are better springs and cost less.

i dunno but say your replace one leaf pack, wouldnt that cause that side of the truck to sit higher, since its new and not worn down...i say take it as a sign, and begin your lift here...

there like 2 inch lift which is almost nothing when there broken in a bit. You can just crank up the front torsion bars a little and itshould sit fine.

Check out Wheelersoffroad.com and look at their leaf packs. You may as well change both of them out since you're under there.

I'd look on www.craigslist.com for some stuff, probably the most hany site ever made. Not only could you find a set of leaf springs that someone might be parting out cheap, you might also be able to find a cheap(er) lift for your truck. If you don't wanna do that, and you aren't too lazy, call the junk yard, see if they got any of your model in (or anything that runs the same package) and tear it out of another rig!!! FUN FUN FUN!

I agree whatever you replace on one side do that same to the other side. I'm pretty sure Alcan will make you one replacement spring for each side.

I'm pretty sure the 97 Tacos had coils in the front.
