Keyless remote questions
Guys,
I have a 98 4runner limited that has the factory alarm. The key fob has two buttons on it. I need to replace it. Does anyone know if I can use one from the 99-00 models? I have attached some pictures for clarification.

No, won't work. Also, make sure you buy the black remotes not the grey ones.

Like Bob said only use the remotes with the FCC ID: BAB237131-022
Anything else will not work.

I had a question... Whats the bottom button do anyways? Seems like nothing happends when I press it.

I think it is a panic button, mine only works at the most inconvient times

I believe you could use it to program another car with SAME RS3000 alarm.
