Just Picked Up New Exhaust!

I just picked up my trd cat-back and was dissapointed to see that the piping used is only 2.25 inches. Isn't this the same diameter as the stock system? I was hoping for 2.5 inch tubing as I have a s/c and will soon be adding the URD kit and higher boost pulley. Does anybody know if I will need 2.5 inch tubing or if I can get the same performance gains from the trd set up?

I'm pretty sure stock is 2.5" for you as it is 2.25" for me.

Just measured the outside diameter on the trd system and it was 2.25 inches. By feel and look it seems to be the same size as stock. If all I got out of the trd cat back was a free flow muffler and a chrome tip, I would rather just weld a magnaflow on there..

Mine is 2.25 (stock) on the 3.4L. I desire to go to 2.5 in the future, but no larger.

just took another look and noticed that the inlet on the muffler is 2.25 while the outlet is 2.5. I think that this is probably considered a 2.5 in system then. Thanks for the replies and I am looking forward to getting this installed!!
