I got the 5-speed with locker and the grey bumpers just like that. Mines black and has leather too. Must be a North Carolina thing, cause thats where I had to go to get mine.
Thats a good price AND the running boards are already off with factory mud flaps in place. Nice find!

They're not THAT rare. I've seen 2 in my area alone. Autotrader reveals many more on the net. Granted, they are a lot more rare than auto/locker combo, but they are out there and not too hard to find.

you got an absolute steal on that, 5spd 4runners are hard to find, and the diff lock is the best possible option out there, and with that low mileage all i could say is wow that thing could have sold for a lot more than that, i see 97-98 v6 5spd tacomas without the diff lock in much much worse condition sell here for 12-14k weekly.

This truck seems like it's geared pretty low. Is there a standard gearing for the 5speeds with the elocker? Is it a 4.30?

5 speeds with lockers got a little more common after '97 as most of the '99 Highlanders that are 5 speed had the diff lock;they can be found but you do need patience and if you got one then you still are in the minority
