Question Installing URD kit in stages.... Good or Bad idea???

I'm slowly getting around to puting the URD kit in my Runner, but due to time restraints its hard to find a time that is best to have it out of comission for a few days. I put the fuel pump in last wekend, but that's it so far.

My question is when is "the point of no return" or when is it all or nothing? Can I put the thermostat, injectors, and plugs in (while replacing timing belt and water pump) then drive for a week or two then put in the controller in and tune it? Can the stock ECU handle the bigger injectors? Or am I at the point where I just better suck it up and do it all at once?

I've been running with ZERO S/C problems for the last year now (knock on wood) other then feeling maybe a little high RPM lean out. Just the posibility of it running too lean has me a little concerned. So if damage is being caused right now it seems that doing the upgrade bit by bit is better than waiting too long.

Thanks!

I actually think it is a better idea to put it in in stages. That way if you have a problem you know exactly where to look. You can put in the fuel pump. thermostat, and plugs anytime. You can install the FTC but you need to save your base map to your computer then set map A to all 10's and set map B to all zeros. The point of no return is when you install the injectors. The stock ECU will not handle them. When you install the injectors, load the base maps back on to the FTC and start tuning.
