Installing new shocks
I have a question for those who have replaced there shocks,my 4 runner has about 225k miles and I have decided to order some new shocks I'm gonna get some bilsteins as they seem to have a good rep. I was wondering if there are any other parts I need to order in addition to the shocks that will need to be replaced. I plan on using my stock springs. Thanks in advance.

in a perfect world the kit you ordered from bilstein should have all the correct parts and bushings needed. but when i did my shocks (and a 3inch lift) the "bushings" were already in the shock itself.
they aren't like control arms with a press out bushing.
you should be able to knock this project out in about 2 beer.
if your going to damage anything it would more then likely be the brake lines on the front so don't let them drop too much and pinch the hose
