I'm looking for the new 4runner tail lamps

I have a 2000 Toyota 4runner and I'm looking for the newer generation OEM tail lamps (the clearer ones) for it. I will also need the wiring harness. If you are interested in selling yours then please e-mail me at amarfamly@aol.com with the price and shipping cost to Houston, Texas.
thank you

To get the wiring harness and tails, you need to order them from Toyota. Get them here:

Jason's right, no one in their right mind would sell you their newer tail lights. IMO, they're nicer looking than even the euro-style aftermarket lamps.

i thought the newer tail lights would plug into a 2000 Runner with a new harness. I could be wrong though.

No, you're right, they plug right in:

YOU NEED THE HARNESS! You must replace your old current harness with the 2001 harness.

Me, of course j/k. As long as you used the following part numbers, it should come with everything you need.

Toyota P/N: 81550-35240 (Right Lamp)
Toyota P/N: 81560-35200 (Left Lamp)

If you specify you DON'T want the harness, you won't get it. Usually people don't do that, unless they cracked a tail light, and they wouldn't need the harness and bulbs, etc. From your post, I thought you said you ordered them without the harnesses. You just need to double check to see if you are getting them.

well my last post came while Jason was posting. I ordered the part numbers that Phong gave in his post. I thought you had to order the harness as a seperate piece. Now you have me confused.

The harness will comes with the tails with those part numbersd, BUT if you told them you didn't want the harnesses (which you need) then you won't get them and the part numbers would change on their end.

Jason - Thanks for clearing that up. I did not tell them I did not want the harnes so I should get them. Now I can stop stressing.

Paul - I love the headers. I did not do the install. I had them put on when I had the S/C installed. I think they go very well with my other engine mods. All I need now is my Fuel mods and this thing will run like a champ.
