I' a believer in Redline...

Reluctantly, I threw in a bottle of Redline's Total Fuel System Cleaner before headin down to Oregon for some 4 day weekend fun, and by the first time I had to fill the tank, I had noticed that my trip had exceeded 300 miles and there was still about an 1/8th of a tank left. Previously, I would average about 280 on the freeway, from Eastern to western washington. I was flabergasted to see my mileage increase so much. Also, as insignificant as it may seem, I also noticed a slight increase in throttle response, even when using the buttons in cruise control.

Now, i believe I will start using this product once a month to keep my runner's miles long and strong. And what a steal at only $6 a bottle. Kudos Redline.

You should try their synthetic tranny oil, MT-90. It's good stuff.

Great stuff! I found it at Pep Boys for $4.50. I had similar gains from my vehicles too. I've got everybody using it

I couldn't find Redline at my local Schucks, but they seemed to have 6 different "Total Fuel System Cleaners". I picked Super X for no real reason: http://www.penray.com/auto/total.htm

We'll see how it works!

I've used Redline products in the past and can say that they're all pretty good. The injector cleaner I thought was real good. I just bought some Chevron Injector cleaner this time and reccommend it as well.

I wanted to follow up on this for the sake of the archives...

I just filled up today after running the first full tank of gas through the 1/2 tank that I used to put the above cleaner in it.

End results: "KICKIN'!" (that's a good thing)

I had been getting about 16.5mpg. At this fillup, I just recorded my first 18mpg tank in YEARS.

I'm sold... I'll be running a bottle of this through the engine at every oil change.

(oh... THANK YOU Salue.. I missed your response before)

There are a ton of people on the alltrac forum that swear by the MT-90 for their transmissions. i guess I will have to buy some and try it out!

Not to piss on the fire here, but when I installed Redline Oil on the following vehicles, the following occurred:

Mazda B2200: Blew the 3rd gear synchro, new tranny
95 SI: 3rd gear started grinding after Redline MTL

Note: I drove both these vehicles very very hard, so its not fair to say that it was all Redline MTL that caused the problems. But, it seems interesting that I developed tranny problems right after installing the fluid.

Same here...

I had MT-90 in my truck for 30k and Toyota got to replace all the bearings in my 5-speed three months ago. Can't say for certain that it was the Redline or a bad setup on the tranny but it happened.
