How to wire extra rear lamps?

Hello All....Maybe someone can help me out. I've gone to search but with no definite answer. Anyways, I am interested in installing a set of extra rear lamps maybe some tractor lights or some cheapy Pilot lights.

Is there a way to wire these up with my reverse lights at the same time have independent switch? Basically, when I go on reverse they light up and when I am not on reverse I can light them up with a switch. Thanks..............

seems like it would be easer it just turn them on when you want to, beacuse even when you go in reverse, you only need them at night. Seems like a lot of unnecessary work. i'd just wire them up like any offroad lamps w/ an on/off switch, just my .02 though.

Not wired up so they come on with your reverse lights, but manually.
From the Tech section.

Tractor lamps too.

My results using Corey's write-up

EDIT:
P.S.
I use one of these switches so I don't have to worry about accidentally turning them on while I'm on the road. That would be bad.

Id rather put in a normal switch... just in case you *HAVE to* accidently flip them on... =)

Same with my 6 lightforce lights.... Technically any lights above the headlights have to have covers... I never have been pulled over yet...

The best reverse light system for the money!

What I did was: I went to Lowes and bought 20 feet of out door grade 10 gauge wire, I went to the local car audio shop and bought a good 30 amp in line fuse holder, off to Auto zone and bought a fog light relay. I basically routed the out door cable from the battery to the rear of the truck passing it through and zip tying the crap out of it to the frame making sure it was out of the way of hot and moving parts. This gave me a good clean 12v power source to the rear. I installed a good 12v out door socket on the end of it under my bumper to run a compressor or big light or what ever. Then I tapped into the main line and ran that over to the fog light relay input side. I then branched off of the stock reverse wire with a snap on wire tap and brought that over to the relay switch in put. I installed a nice set of Blazer brand low profile 100 watt driving lights with a little modification to the rear of the truck, tapped a tapped a small hole to attach the grounds and I am set. You really can’t even see the lights themselves, only the lenses and you would have to look. These with the stock reverse lights are like having BRIGHT high beams on behind you that only come on when you are in reverse. I may eventually hook them up with a switch so I can by pass the relay and run them when I am not in reverse, you know the “so you want to tail gate me system!” All together the system was under $60 to build and took an afternoon to install.
