OK so after I took off the 4 top screws, I find out there's something else holding that thing on. Anyone know how to take it off?

 

i thought there were only 4 screws that were holding it on...i may be wrong though...

 

It might just feel stuck to it. It is held on with only the 4 screws.

 

Four screws. You taking it off to paint it? It actually serves a purpose. It keeps the back of your truck cleaner by directing the air down on the back. Without it air tends to swirl and you get a dirty back tailgate and window.

 

can I have your rear wing? My 2nd gen doesnt have one....

 

Sorry I shoulda been more specific. I didnt mean the wing itself, I meant the things that hold the wing to the truck.


I'd love to give it to you but my dad insists that I keep everything I take off/change so if I sell it (never), it'll be stock. Sorry.

Did you ever figure out howto get the two mounting thingys off?

 

yeah i wanna know that too cuz i asked that a couple threads back and got no response.since i removed the spoiler/deflector i'm also riding w/ mounting brackets
