A press, some regular shop tools which most people that do their own work on most everything else is all it takes. If you've done the bearings on the rear axle then this CAN be done in the garage. the kit costs so much because of the CV joints, stock ones are like $250-$300 each, that doesn't include the bearings and hub! labor will always be outrageously rediculous, unless of course you aren't afraid of a little grease on your hands and learning something. haven't you done all the work on your rig? you got a nice rig but if you did all the work yourself it must feel extra special to not have to say "I took it to a shop." at least that's how I feel when somebody asks me, I can tell them exactly how I did it.

I agree with you here. but the other dude is confused he keeps referring to ORS and Off Road Solutions like they are different. they are the same company, I don't think that dude realizes that.
