How easy does a 4Runner roll compared to a Jeep?

How easy does a 4Runner roll compared to a Jeep?
Is there anyplace you guys know of that tells how many degrees a 4runner (preferably 2nd gen) and a Jeep Cherokee can lean before rolling? I'm just curious to see how they compare.

Most 4x4 Shops sell either the clinometers or what I would recommend is a plain old "lev-o-gauge"
As far as roll - there are a few factors that change the amount to roll - ie. how much lift you have, how stiff your suspension, increased center of gravit (say with a spare tire on the roof), etc.
I'd estimate 35 degrees is about the farthest I've been safely. Ive heard people say they pused 45 degrees - but I'd rather not try that.

i've been on 3 tires many times in my 4runner, as a matter of fact, chris(oicnaic) was with me once, he said my rear tire was 3ft off the ground...it isnt the best feeling, but when your in control everything is ok..lol, until your out of control!
but it kinda gives you an extra rush if you will hehe!!

Width to height makes a big difference, so put on an IFS lift, keep the stock rims and see what happens.
When we were on Iron Chest, before it was paved, Jeff said the next spot gets to 30 or so. I said if you have time to read the gauge, it is not that tippy.
I would bet my side to side has been at atleast 35. Front to back way more. Not sure what the compound measure of both has been.

You guys should check out Steve's hi-tech homemade version 

Actually, his inclinometer is VERY simple and pretty effective. It's one of those things that you look at and you think, "Of course! Now why didn't I think of that?"

I tell you one thing, my 98 Tacoma TRD LTD x-cab felt way more stable on 3 wheels than my 4Runner. I guess it makes sense since the wheelbase was longer and the COG was lower.

Some people took pics from one of my mishaps. Unfortunately I do not know them but even if I wouldn't show them.
I't was kinda embarresing because it happend in a track only a foot deep which I was trying to get out off at a speed of only 3-4 mph. It was also on the entry road of a 4x4 terrain with some 10 4x4's behind me...... :pat:
I'll see if I can dig up a pic of the body damage.

I watch a show on Land Rovers and they were talking about how the engine is designed to handle 30 degrees without any negative affects on oil pick up.
Anyone know if Toys are designed like that?

I've been in a few situations with a tire lifted pretty high, but I can't ever imagine rolling my baby. I think I would cry first, then find some diapers, or TP to clean up the crap in my pants!
