I just changed my oil at 31470 miles to Mobil 1, and using the stock Toyota Filter it took the full box of 6 quarts, and it reads 1/2 way between the dipstick hash marks.

Just wondering if ya'll put in the same amount.

Also, when I was taking off the flap behind the left driver tire to take off the oil filter, I broke one of the plastic clips that holds the flap on. OOPS! Anyone have a part number so I can get a new one?

I also ordered the Amsoil air filter to go with my recently completed deckplate mod. I am sooo looking forward to popping that baby in!

 

my v-6 limited also takes about 6 quarts, i get to my oil filter thru the top of the engine using chain strap filter wrench instead of going thru wheel well.:pig:

 

So the 3.4L takes 6 quarts, always wondered why my friend went 5k before his oil changes now I know

 

Yea, they have a pretty good capacity. If you do some searching, you will find that there are folks on this board that go a looooong time between oil changes. I have heard people say that they have gone 12,000 miles on synthetic. Someone on here (Gadget, I think) has a remote filtering system that allows ridunkulous oil change intervals.
