I am looking for a hitch cover brake light with LEDs instead of a bulb. I have one like this:



and it burnt out and I bought another one and I am just afraid it will blow again. I would really like one w/ LEDs, but not one like this, due to its size:



Does anyone know of a square one like the first one, but it has LEDs or something similar. I would appreciate it. Thanks!

 

haven't seen anything around. check with a local hitch/trailer/sport truck place and you might find something. Its also possible a local parts store carries them, I know an Oreilly's carries a lot of lighting stuff similar to that.

 

I've been running the same square one for over 1 1/2 years now, but I haven't had a problem with it yet. I have an older one. I had to re-drill the pin holes and re-solder the wires before I intalled it.

I'd love to get the LED ones if they're available.

Try Wal-Mart if you have one in your area. I think I saw them there with the LED's.
