I feel really retarded posting but here goes. I bought '01 OEM tails and it comes with the harness so no wiring changes are required like Jason B and Bamachem had to do. The thing is, the new tails comes with a plug and a wire to ground. In my '99, this plug goes into the body and to ground the wire, I'd also have to get into the body.

For those that have done this, do you get to this plug through the undercarriage or do you take the panels off of the interior. It's dark where I'm at and I couldn't figure out how to install these damn tails.

 

show us some before after pics when you get it finished... how much were the tails?

 

I got a great deal from 1sttoyotaparts.com for $92 each plus shipping. I know someone that got some aftermarket ones (that look good) on Ebay for $60 plus $15 shipping so OEM for a little more was worth it.
