Hi Guys, I have read all the threads regarding CEL P0172, and to date I have replaced both O2 Sensors, have had the enjectors cleaned, and 600.00 later, no change in performance. I have hestation on accelleration.

The weird thing about my situation, is that when the mechanic puts the tester on my truck, no values change immediatly. That is, when he steps on the gas pedal, all the readings stay the same for a period of time, which coinsides with the hesitation of the engine.

The TPS position sensor, RPM, MAF all of them stay put. Any ideas? Could the ECM be bad?? Trying not to take it to the stealership.

It stalled 3 times on the way home from work after replacing the 2nd O2 sensor

Any help is appreciated.

 

clean the MAF and see if it helps. then reset the ECU.
