help electrical!

last night the rear lights on my 1st gen runner and my dash lights went out. My turn signals, brake lights and warning indicators on my dash still work but the speedo, tach, fuel, oil, temp are all dark along with my inclinometer. Help?

Check your taillight wiring. The same thing happened to me on the night I got my 1st gen. It turned out to be a junky trailer light harness shorting out. The dash lights and taillights are both on the same fuse circuit that is located in the fuse block at the driver's foot well. -Chris

Basically pull your fuses and look for one that is blown. Like what has been said, check the tailight fuse, if that's not it keep pulling, because it sounds like a fuse is your culprit.
