Well btwn yesterday and today I installed my compressor and wired everything for the lockers (thanks LARSDENERT) for the wiring writeup.
Now I have to run the airlines. I am concerned about melting the arb blue lines.

Does any one have an EASY solution to the heat problem. I dont know anything about bending or making hard lines. Will the AOR stainless lines melt?

 

I used some black flexible wiring loom for the air lines. All I did was insert the blue lines inside the wiring loom and taped the loom. Works real good to prevent scratches and meltdown. Make sure you test the lines for leaks first before wrapping it up with the wiring loom. Also, I ran the lines alongside the brake lines. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip George, I am considering doing just that. I was trying to check all my options. Murphys law was written for me . so Im get like a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs every time I do a mod.

Don't wrap it around your exhaust system and you will be fine.

I am aware of staying away from the exhaust; however ,I mounted my compressor on the fan/radiator valence w/ the ports facing in. While this is well away from the exhaust I dont know if the engine (right near the oil filler cap) gets hot enough to melt the lines. I was able to zip tie the electrical out of harms way but the airline esp. the lowere comes w/in inches of the engine.

 

If there is stock electrical wiring in the same area as you are running the air line you will be fine.

If thats the case than I should be fine. I wasnt sure about mounting on the fan shroud/valence/whatever but w/ the mounting plate on one side it seems really stong so the compressor will stay put for now.My biggest concern was the proximity to the engine, but the exhaust is way far away, so it sounds like Im good to go.
I have one other stupid question, if I leave my computer on a thread after I answer will it auto update w/ responses or do I have to refresh and or go back to the thread list.
