Before you even start, the headers will be installed on a motor that is out of the vehicle so not so much a PIA. I just need to know which will work with my 1" wabfab BL. A SC is in the works and I feel a set of headers will compliment it.

Well I expected some response, but none? I have searched and nothing definitive has come up. I know some say no BL at all will fit while others say only with a 2" will you run into problems.

Why would a body lift cause clearance issues? It gives you more clearance. So, if it will fit with no body lift then it will fit with a 1".

There is an alleged issue with the steering linkage and the header coming into contact with one another. Most companies will tell you NO Way but have not evaluated the big 3 BL's (1",2",3")make certain at least not to my knowledge. I'm not 100% certain on the HP gain but figured if the engine is out I mine as weel seeing the SC will be on there too.

1" is typically OK on the Tacomas and 3rd gen 4Runners:

Good information, now I need to figure out which will have the lower clearance, I'm guessing the eddlebrock headers are problematic, given the statement on 4Crawlers site. I got a quote on the TRD headers at $880 ouch....
