Head, corner and turn signal upgrade

I got three questions. I'm trying to get some opinions cause I want some bright, whitish/blue head lights, frosted (with that blue) corner lenses and some blue turn signals with white bulbs.

1. I want to upgrade my headlights. I'm trying to get the bright white ones that have good glow on the street. I just want some good ones that will light the street so I won't have to use my accessory lights. I have dark tint on my windows and 50% on my windshield.

2. I'm looking for some clear corner lenses. I know about Burtman industries but I've haven't had time to check back lately. He has the frosted corners I've seen. Do they actually have a little blue in them? (To anyone who has purchased them.

3. The blue turn signal lights with white blulbs. Can anyone recommend a combination that looks good on second gens? Or at least lead me in the right direction.

Any help or links to 2nd gens would be great. Thanks a lot guys.

Hey there Jason.
Can't help ya on the corner or turn signal lights.
I did replace my head lights with a pair i purchased off e-bay.
My 4runner had the sealed beam headlights and i wanted to convert to the h-4 bulb.
Take a look hereHeadlights
My lights were only $30 for the pair. Take a look on e-bay and see if there is something that will fit your 4runner.

What is it you youngsters find fascinating about blue corner and signal lights and they are very illegal in every state you know? I know I sound old but just get the clears with chrome bulbs but shine amber;that's much classier and you won't confuse another driver with a blue turn signal.

Hyper white corners do look good tho' with nice headlamp bulbs and don't draw the attention blue ones will.

I totally agree with you there, anything but orange is illegal and some cops/states will bust you if you don't have an orange reflector in there too, so be careful.

Good Luck

Colorado cops aren't too picky since I do have the clear signal and corners with chrome bulbs and have been pulled over twice (speed warnings both times) and the cop never said a word about anything including my 5% tint.

My front corners are the standard lenses, but have the blue/white led bulbs in them.

My rear turns are the chromed bulbs like you said and are a nice deep amber color when they flash.

What do you mean old....I am 42 and love this geeky stuff.

A. I'm not fascinated.
B. The ones I have are stock, old, and need to be updated like the rest of the runner.
C. I did not know the blue turn signals were illegal. Thank you. I'll go for clear.
D. I don't really know jack about headlights or the bulbs and what combinations make what colors.
E. What's shine amber?
F. I'm no quarbag who puts lights on my hood. I'm not one of those "youngsters" I'm about to be 20.

PIAA extreme white are DOT legal are clear white with a slight blue tint. I live in anal Virginia and never had a problem with them. They look great and porduce a nice white light that actually works. THe blue appears to be more for looks, but doesn't take away from performance

i have clear corners and clear turn signals... i just put orange bulbs in them. they look clear during the day, but at night, when the lights are actually noticable, they appear orange, just as if they were normally that color. thats your best bet, in my opinion

i think you are allowed to have clear/white turn signals up front. For headlights, 4000k might still have a slightly yellow look, but just barely. i think around 4300k is where it looks pure white with a hint of blue if you stare at the bulbs directly. i've never had issues having clear/white corners, but i have clear/yellow corners now just to be on the safe side. I don't really want to give cops any reasonable cause to pull me over.
