hard shifting...but really only in 2nd gear?
ok so the title pretty much explains it. going through the gears is fairly rough...in the morning its worse, but stays pretty consistent throughout the day. the catch is, its usually only 1st and 2nd gear. i know changing the tranny oil is line, but im thinking since its usually only in 2nd, something else may be the culprit?
in the mornings (it was around 25 this morning, which is cold for charlotte), almost always when i shift into 2nd, the parking brake light comes on? any help would be appreciated.
....i do have a 2" body lift, and im guessing this has something to do with it...but what exactly is the solution?

I noticed the transmission was a lot more notchy when cold, and gets better when warmed up. I got redline MT-90 and it does help, but it won't completely cure it.
Your BL might will also make it harder to shift

What you describe can be a symptom of a clutch that's not fully disengaging. If the clutch engages just as the pedal comes off the floor, that's likely the problem.
This can usually be fixed by bleeding the clutch hydraulics and adjusting the clutch master cylinder pushrod. If these don't fix it, a new slave or master cylinder is probably needed.
Good luck.

Reline isn't a treatment...it's a gear oil. http://www.redlineoil.com/products_g...sp?subcatID=18
