Got the new Geolandar M/T +'s (PICS)

I've only had the new meats (305/70/R16's) on for a day so I can't give them a full review, but so far I love em.
I've had MT/R's in the past so it's great to have mud tires once again. The big difference with these is they are balanced (couldn't get MT/R's to balance for crap)
I can't wait to take these puppies offroad.

I could not keep my MT/R's balanced either. If and when I pay for a new set of tries these are what I will get. So far my YokoHomo AT's have done Moab twice, Hammers once, Arizona 24/7 which is the worst of all evils, and now off to the Rubicon.

Buy a locker and pass on the designer tires. If it's rubber and round it will roll.

I really wanted to try those, but was concerned about the 2 ply sidewalls.

Nice. 305s... that's a 33x12, right, or is it a 35? They look good - I've looked at them before, but was concerned about the lateral traction from a directional tire. Can't wait to hear how they work for ya.

Where we roll, over here on the east side, A/T's don't always cut it off road. I tried wheeling again with A/T's last year and I did OK but there were a few situations where some lugs would have really helped.
Like here:
(thanks for the pics Jackson)

Jackson made it up this slick incline with his Firestone Destination M/T's and some more momentum.
The guy who unsuccessfully attempted this before me, had a tacoma with a rear locker. Again, momentum was a huge factor because a chick driving a stock Rubicon couldn't make it either.
Back to the Yoko's, I just drove 52 miles into work today on the highway, and they ride very smooth. Next test will be wet traction. I have uni-directionals on my car which are very good in the rain, so I'm expecting to be satisfied based on that and what I've read from other Yoko M/T owner's reviews.

Thanks for the compliments.

I know the Geo ATs were very good in the rain and much better overall when compared to the BFG ATs on the street and over $70 a tire cheaper. I like the Yok M/Ts but they seem a bit much for a daily driver but they do look cool.

I have another car for a daily driver and I also have a set of 285 Revos mounted on the stock toyota rims for the winter season. I plan to not buy tires for a LOOOONg time.

Oh yeah,if my Runner wasn't my DD I definetly get something that leans toward off roading more but for now I need a good all around tire and my choices were either the Geo AT+II or the Nitto TerraGrapplers and it's looking like the Nittos will be my next tire. I like the Revos but everybody has 'em already and I want to be different.
