goodyear mtrs on a 01 sport, small vibrations

Im not sure if this is normal to feel some vibrations when braking or going slow. Is it the tread? I know for sure they cannot be rubbing because im going in a straight line and even when i turn it doesnt feel any different. they are 265/75/16 tires. Its not a hard vibration just soft under the floorboard.

Thanks

how long ago were they balanced, you might need to rotate them and have them balanced

it took a while for me to get used to the noises of the mtrs... theyre loud, not just the hum, but the noise the tread makes on take off and stop.

not sure on the vibrations, i forgot what mine was like before i modded it to the point where everything vibrates!

vibration..meaning wheel/suspension vibrating that you can feel through the steering wheel? or just slight bumpiness when braking & coming to a stop? if its the latter, its those knobby tires ya got! i feel it especially in the last few feet of coming to a slow stop... but i love it coz i know the MT/R's are just excellent off the street. on road...who cares haha.

the trade off's of having MT's as opposed to street or AT tires...

I wanted to go with MT/Rs but mines a daily driver and from the experience of driving my friend's Tacoma with MT/Rs was a bit much around town. The look is awesome tho'.

Hey neliconcept;

Yes its normal to feel that vibration when slowwing down!!
It really is just the tread on the tires!!
I've had that from the begining... and have had my tires balanced 3 different times and still the same!!

Rotate the tires. It will fix the vibration problems.

I had this happen to me with my BFG's... they would create a tuning-fork sensation on braking... I just rotated them and it was all okay.
