definatly not turbocharged. The turbine muffles the the exhaust and really smooths it out.
So, he charges about 5K NZ money? That is around 10K US. I can do them for 6K US, and that is for a turbo motor. That is about $2500 in labor $3500 parts.
Man, I am cheap I really need to charge more.

lots of good info and a dedicated forum. just as a quick answer yes a supra motor will bolt up to a stock 4cyl 4WD truck transmission with appropriate bellhousings.
the trucks in that video are definetly NOT turbocharged.

You have it around the wrong way. $ 5000 nz is about $2500 US approx, maybe a little more as our dollars is quite strong against the greenback right now.

The guy down here use's these motors . Toyota 5MG-EU engine - 2.8litre 6-cylinder. If you find a 5-speed Supra (MA61 model - early 80's) then you have everything you need to bolt it in - no conversion kits or adaptors required.
you lot a probably thinking of later model supra motors for your late model runners.

Yeah, a 5M could be done for that cheap. Cost of parts would be around half.
