good deal or not ?

I recently bought a 2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with 100,000 miles on it for $8,600. is this good deal? i think so but comments are welcome. this is what it looks like : Link

I actually wanted to get the one with the hood scoop but i guess i can always add this later on.

Nice, I think it's a good deal. I paid that for my 98 sr5 with some options that the dealer didn't know about. It had 100,000 as well. As long as nothing goes wrong with it than good deal. Enjoy!!!

Yep if it is a 4x4 then that is a great deal. even a 2wd is a good deal at that price.

Blue book is about $11,000 for that model (i know because i just bought one myself...)

yes it is a 4x4. at this point i would like to enhance the look of it a bit. looks nice stock but i was wondering what you guys think would enhance the look of it. it was throughly checked out engine and suspension wise because i myself was a bit skeptical about that price.

excellent deal. anything under 10k is a steal. congrats. take off the running boards if you don't need them. that's a quick mod that you can do that's really fast. & just read some other threads on here for ideas. there's endless possibilities of what you can do. one again congrats.

That's a steal for an '02. Great buy, you should have a lot of fun with that.
