I have a 2000 4runner limited. When i put it in drive the car doesnt sound like it goes into gear. I take my foot off the brake and it doesnt move. I then gave the car a little bit of gas and it made a large CLUNK noise and jumped forward......im almost positive that this isnt something the car should be doing.....does anyone know what is wrong with my truck??? I have only had it for a year and it has 152,000 miles on it.....i would appreciate the help.

First and most obvious step would be to check the ATF level

it was just filled last week, and the trucks transmission has been serviced every 50,000 miles

Double check the ATF fluid level, maybe there wasn't enough put back in. This sounds like a classic low fluid level symptom.
