Gauge light color change

Ibought new led 194 style lights for my gauges. I placed purple black light one in and WOW..... These are cool. It changed the color of my gauges from the ugly green to a rocking purple. How cool is that!!!

Where did you buy the 194 leds? How much too?

I'd like to get superwhite 194 leds to replace the stock bulbs in my corners so they can be flush with my headlights.

Did mine w/ the red 194's. Looks pretty cool, matches the truck, and is easier on the eyes then that god awfull green. And the green 4x4 light is a nice contrast......

my guess is, with hardly any posts under their belt, that they're new and they'll come back with "I am selling the bulbs." Then give a paypal address and try to rip a bunch of people off. Also, they don't show any of their geographic info.

Seriously!! I've been looking into changing all of my bulbs to orange but have yet (on this board or the other one) to have anybody be able to really tell me where to buy the bulbs and have a comprehensive write-up on how to do it. I'd love it if somebody would hook that up. I've had burnt out bulbs in about 3 switches and have been holding off on the replacement so that I could find somebody with info on where to get good orange ones. I keep hearing "Go to Radio Shack" but I don't even really know what I'm looking for so that's sort of a bust.

there was a thread about a year ago that was turning all interior lighting to blue with leds but that was before companies started making the 194 leds. they were soldering resistors to the leds and installing them. if I can find it I'll post it. but that is old tech so if somebody could actually post some useful info here instead of talking about that they did it but give no clue as to how it was done and where they got the supplies we'd all be better off.

I would just take their tires and emblems and bust their antenna, if it was the electric retracting kind I'd pull it out with pliers and snap it off.

did you replace all the 194's in the cluster with the led 194's? or are some of them just the blue 194 bulbs? How about the key ring light? that's a 74.
