G52 Vs G54

G52 Vs G54
i have a G52 in truck now, I see at marlin that they are the same as G54 but with smaller and weaker bearings and gears??? They bolt up the same and work with the forward shift t case? I need a replacement and just making sure the G54 will but up and work with my 22r before i buy one

My understanding is they are the same - as you said except for bearings and such. Marlin also says that when you send in G52 for rebuild you get a G54 back, if I remember right.
