The story starts here. We took my step-dads '88 4Runner V6 auto to pick up my brothers truck(which is 60 miles away). Anyways, we are at the shop for about an hour, when we go to leave the shop the Runner won't shift into gear. The only was to get it to drive is in LowRange :wtf: . We play with that for a 1/2 hour, and get that to work. So we take the 60 mile journey home and get off the freeway. We drive a block and steam starts seeping through the hood . We pull over and their is coolent all over the control arms, and the oil pressure dropped. We limp it home(were it curently sitting ). Are those the symptoms for a blowen head gasket, and what is up with the Trans. BTW the shop that worked on my brother shop forgot to move the A/C line on my bros truck and the line hit the fan belt :pat: , Bye,Bye A/C
