Fun with brakes

Did ya' ever want a really good gauge on when you need to replace your brake pads or rotors?

Well, whatever you do, don't follow what I did last week!

I've got some babble and pics up on my website, but here's a teaser:

Ouch bud!
Bet they work like new anyway.

If it makes you feel better I usually just replace the rotors because they warp even easier when turned.

Yeah... I'm not a fan of turning 'em, not when they're so cheap to replace. These rotors actually had about 60-70k on them so I don't feel bad about replacing 'em. It was time.

WOW!
That broken mallet just says it all - that and your expression

side note - I didn't know NAPA had rotors going for that much! I'll have to stop by sometime and pick up a set.

Hehehe... same deal with my fiance's brakes this weekend. Nothing like metal on metal to stop your car and ruin your rotors.
