I have a 02 v6 s.c. and 7th inj and exhaust. What is the general input on a walbro 190 lph for the application? Can the factory pump handle fuel delivery or should I get walbro? Gadget has them at a very good price.

The stock pump is somewhere around 90 LPH at 43 PSI. That is not enough.

There will be a fuel pressure loss when the amount of fuel needed by the supercharger is flowed.

What we do not know is whether or not the injector overcapcity of the 7th injector kit will still flow enough fuel even with a drastic fuel pressure loss. Usually with these pumps, when pressure goes up flow goes down, and when pressure goes down flow goes up.

I do not know of anyone that has done any testing to address these questions with the 7th injector kit. I do encourage you to do your own testing and let us know what you find out.

If it were my truck, I would have fuel pressure gauge and a wide band O2 display hooked up to verify that is it not running to rich or running to lean. The sad thing is that you can not retune the TRD thing so you are pretty much stuck with what you get.

If after you do you testing and determine that it is not right, let me know and we can hook you up with a fuel pump and a version of the FTC box that will handle your timing needs and control the 7th injector allowing you to properly tune the system unlike it current switched full on or off modes.

This approach has been done on the Supercharged Matrix with a supstantial power increase just by properly tuning TRD's additional injector.

I emailed your associate in Boca and like I told him if you need a truck to experiment on I am available.
Recently it feels that it is starving for fuel I can feel surging in power at high RPM's .I am not sure on a Yoda where to place a fuel Gauge since most all my background is on S.C. S.B. chevy .

where do I put the fuel psi sender?
so if I am to monitor the pressure where do I put the sender under the hood?

 

There are lots of different ways to install the sender for a fuel pressure gauge.

One is to cut the high pressure line and install a T fitting that has a port for the sender.

Another is to remove the banjo bolt on the front of the passenger side fuel rail and drill the end of it to accept a 1/8" NPT 90* elbow fitting that you can install the sender in.

Another way is the way I did it and you can check that out on my gauges page.
