Fuel Injector fun

Hello gentlemen--new to the forum, first post, etc etc
I picked up a 97 4Runner SR5 last week, with 200k on the clock. This is my first non-US built car, and so far I think its a fun little vehicle. Ive replaced U joints, spark plugs, tightened the valve cover bolts, fixed the cigarette lighter...all thanks to this forum so far

Anyway, I had a miss on #4, so I changed the plugs. I kept getting the code, so I changed the injector on that cylinder this afternoon. I got it all back together, and despite my checking and rechecking, Im pretty sure Ive got a fuel leak on the driver side rail. QUESTION IS--does anyone know of a way to check for a leak under the intake plenum without taking it apart? I dont mind doing it over, but...you know.

take it to any auto shop they will have a 'sniffer wand' that is used in emissions testing that checks for unburned hydrocarbons. this will tell you right now if there is a fuel leak under there.

If you pulled the rail and didn't replace the O-rings on the other injectors I can almost certainly say you are leaking especially with 200k on the most likely original o-rings. I'd order an o-ring kit for the motor and then go back in
