Front Diff...Stupid question

I put mobil 1 in the rear Diff and am thinking about puttin in front diff...I do not off road or use 4WD much......Does the front diff turn while in 2WD?

What hubs do you have?

IF manual locking hubs then the front axles/driveshaft does not turn
IF you have A.D.D. system then the front does turn...
