Front carrier question

Front carrier question
I finally got some manual hubs on my truck and im planning on welding the front diff in a couple of hours, if i remember correctly the tacoma v6 front diff is a forged carrier, not cast.
Im just wondering if anybody in here knows offhand weather or not it is infact forged, its been a while since ive actually looked at the carrier itself.
