Fog light switch Gen 2 Toyota

I searched YotaTech and couldn't find an article regarding the use of Camry fog light switch in a second generation Toyota (pickup or 4runner).

Toyota dealers want $45 dollars for a fog light switch that fits in the blanks located in the dash for pickups and 4runners. I discovered a way around this financial piracy by using 95 Camry fog light switch for $18.

It lights up when the fog lights are on and looks good too.

You have not seen my write-up in Tech?
You can get a lighted switch at your dealer for $12.
The newer ones now are a little rounder looking.

These same switches can also be found online at electrical sites.

Scroll down to the article "Wiring up off road lamps."

Mine lights up when you switch it on.
The way to wire it up is also in the write-up.

I think they all have the same size hole, so yes, the switch should fit all gens.
