Flat Towing

Hey guys,

Does anyone know the details/rules to flat towing a 98 4x4 5spd 4Runner. I have to go to Kanasas for work for a year and plan on buying an RV and tow my 98 behind me.

Flat Towing

I tow a 04 4x4 Dbl cab with Auto trans. Before I bought a I asked a ton a ? about flat towing and a bunch a Toyota boards and everyone said no. I have a Remco Driveshaft disconnect and a US gear brake system and tow with no problem. We don't do big time rock bashing but have done some pretty good trails and the disconnect holds up fine. I may add manual hubs just for less turning parts while towing. I don't think you need anything with 5 speed trans. Call Remco and they will tell you and won't sell you somthing you don't need. Kelly
