Nope, just the upgraded SR5/limited 16" brake package that came from the factory (although I am running Powerslot rotors and Hawk LTS pads these days). The Tundra brakes would fit no problem though (199mm or 231mm caliper) due to the fact that I'm running 3/4" wheel spacers and 17" rims...

Cool man. I just got some FJ wheels and were hoping to do my 231mm brake upgrade. Where did you get your spacers?

They're custom ones I designed myself (I'm a mechanical engineer) and and had machined at a machine shop here in town. I didn't want the spidertrax spacers because I thought they would stick the wheels too far outside my SR5 fender flares. They turned out perfect!

My 17" FJ Wheels mounting thread: http://www.ultimateyota.com/index.ph...6&topic=4657.0

My spacers with studs pulled in:

Front mounted with cut factory studs (for clearance):

Rear mounted with cut studs:

I also happen to have an extra set of the exact same spacers (I got a set machined for another guy and he backed out) if you'd like to buy them off me. I'll give them to you for $100 plus Paypal fees and shipping, which is at-cost for me (they cost $100 to machine). I just want to get them off my coffee table! You would just have to buy lug studs and nuts from your local auto parts store, I have instructions on what you need and dimensions.

These wheels look really good! I don't like them on FJ's but on 4Runners they really stand out. Maybe ill have to snag a set for my 86' hmm...

Nice work Mastacox. Glad to see your still at it with the 4Runner.

So do I need spacers to fit these wheels on my 4Runner? I don't plan to run bigger tires or anything.

Depends on what their backspacing is. If they're between 4.625" (stock 3rd gen) and 4.84" (FJ cruiser alloy) you should be able to fit stock size tires no problem. If the BS is bigger, I happen to know who can get some sweet spacers made for you

I looked on TRD's site for these wheels and can't find anything on them. You guys are gonna end up making me spend money.

How can I find out if these things will fit? The size says they're 16" wheels which is what my current IS TRD wheels are.

Are they 16x8?

Well, I did some Photochopping and found I like my Current IS TRD wheels better. Just saved myself about $1000.

Here's my 99 with 2010 4runner wheels if anyone wants to use it as reference??!! No spacer, no problem. I just put brand new 275/70/17 BFG AT's on it a couple days ago, I'll try to take some pics soon!! The tires in this pic are my old worn down 265/70/17's. The 275's are AWESOME, but it did make the truck a little less peppy cause of the gearing. But, for those of you guys that are not big enough for 285's, the 275's are a very good substitute.

285/70/17 = 32.8"
275/70/17 = 32.2"
Stock 265/70/16 = 30.7"

Rock on!!
