Welcome to the board, like the others said this forum will cost you a bunch of money. Many things you will see and then find that you can't live without the stuff. I couldn't help but reply when I seen that name

ayoung, I'm actually from Arizona. But I belong to a club that's based in lower michigan/upper Indiana cuz I got to school at Purdue. Check it out www.4given4x4.com/forums you should come to attica with some of us YT ppl.

Welcome there Krash 
One thing as a newbie is you need to show some pic's of your rig
On the soft top. Swing by a shop that does boat tops. They have the same material as the can-back for alot cheaper. See if they can rig something up.
