Let us know how it goes. I am looking into winches and haven't seen much feedback on the MileMarkers.

Very nice. You'll love the piece of mind you get from having a winch.

I made the bar about a year ago and left enough room to mount a winch, at least I hoped. Everything fit perfect.

That is a great alternative to a total aftermarket bumper overhaul.
Nice looking and a place for the lights.

If you decide to make any more of those bumpers, just post it here! I'll be the first in line with cash in hand!

I would, but the problem is that there is way too much work that has to be done to the vehicle itself. I had to cut the body mount off and remount it to the bar along with other frame and body mods. It is also very heavy. The bar and winch mounts alone are about 100 lbs.

It takes about 10 mins. One wire to the ground on your battery one to the positive and your done.

Looks great! I have a Milemarker E8000 on my 94 and a clone on my 87. The milemarkers are strong winches (made in China) but they are kinda slow. I have used mine mostly to recover my friends 97 Explorer and 03 Rubicon, though I have needed it for myself twice. I have never overheated the winch on my 94 (the one on my 87 is brand new- $289 at Harbor Freight Tools) and for the price I was easily able to replace the steel wire rope with some synthetic Masterpull line.

I love the way that looks!!! nice and clean. MY next pay check is going towards a winch, then im gonna work on whipping up a bumper like that. It goes in place of the lower plastic valence thing right??

Looks awesome!!!!
