Finally cleaned my skidplate PIX
I went ahead and changed some fluids, rear diff(ended up going to stealer because bolt was PITA. But I bought some AMSOIL for my T-case & front diff, and did my Mobil 1 oil in motor w/OEM filter. I couldn't believe the amount of crap my skidplate accumulated from changing my oil filters. Finally I cleaned it up and just decided to pull the skidplate off from now on every oil change. W/ air tools it doesn't take much longer.

Thats about what mine looks like!! I need to hose mine off....so it's sitting against the wall until I find some time to get to it. What did you use to clean it? Dish soap??

What I wound up doing with mine was cleaning them and spraying rubber undercoating on both sides. It was beginning to rust so I wanted to stop it early. If I could do it over I might would go with POR 15 as one member just posted earlier.
