Fan mail from the Washington FS Rangers
(I'm purposely posting this in the general forum 'cause I wanted to attract attention 
)
In my snail mailbox today was a letter from Washington's beloved Ranger Randy Shepard. This was the follow up that they promised from the meeting that Rob (WATRD) and I attended back at the beginning of August. For a backgrounder, see this thread:

To Ranger Randy's credit, _all_ of the points from each of the discussion groups were documented - including the "controversial" points that Rob and I put forth.
The cover letter doesn't give a specific date about a subsequent meeting, though it states "The next formal process step will be issuing a scoping letter this fall... At the conclusion of the scoping phase, we enter the analysis and alternative development stage. Another public meeting is planned for next spring...". Sigh.
If you'd like to be on the snail mail llist, send a written request to:

I had assumed he was talking about the Forest Circus folks since Cebby has always seemed to be a pretty reasonable guy...
