Has anyone ever looked into making the extended cab Pickups (89-95) or a 96-04 Tacoma's an "access cab" ie giving it rear suicide doors. Is this possible? I'm guessing costs are probably prohibitive unless you have lots of extra $$$ laying around, or??? Just curious.

If you have the skills and the time, anything can be done. If you have to pay a body shop to do it, it will cost more than the truck did.
There was a guy in the classified section a while back that had the rear half of the cab of a 4 door 89-95 style truck from Australia for sale. He had the rear half cab, rear doors, and rear seat. You would also have to shorten the bed, maybe lengthen the chassis but that would be fairly easy actually. I thought about it, but decided I have enough projects already and not enough money....
