So I was driving home from work, it's dark and my lights are on. I open my ash tray and it's dark in there. I thought it had a light.
My question is, Did I have a light in there before? How about the glove box?

my 85 supposedly has a light in the glovebox, jsut i have never seen it...

 

Yes, you have one. You have to pull off the trim surrounding the radio to change the bulb. It just pops out once the trim is removed.

It's gremlins man......gremlins!!!!! Trolls take/hide keys sunglasses,etc...and it's the sock god in the dryer who steals only left socks. There's an undiscovered planet out there made out of only left socks...hahahahaha

Funny story about that...I have a pair of dockers that are x color and I bought one pair of socks (x color) to match those pants. About a year ago I noticed only one x colored sock, so I assumed the sock gremlin snatched it. Then two days ago I had to fix my washer...I pulled the washer out so I could get to the rear panel and lo-and-behold there was x colored sock #2 practically pasted to the floor directly under where the washing machine sat! How it got there is still a mystery...

 

Somewhere they changed from a fiber optic thingie to a bulb in the ashtray. My 85 had a little tube above the ashtray with a fiber optic strand in it. Cleaning it occasionally makes a huge difference. (Unless you don't smoke, in which case it probably never needs cleaned.) The newer ones have a bulb. Y'know, come to think of it, maybe it was the Montero.... oh well. CRS takes its toll...

 

Guess mine's out too. I don't even remember there being one. Where's the bulb in relation to the metal plate that stops the drawer?
