Unhappy Exhaust Woes

Well I received my Downey exhaust yesterday, and realized it was a bit beyond what I had in mind. It turns out I am an idiot...no big suprise there, I thought the freeflow cat would bolt up to the factory location and the rest of the exhaust would bolt up from there. Turns out this is not correct. You have to have 2 1/2" headers already inplace to use the exhaust with out some sort of reducer (from the stock manifold? to the Downey pipe).

Anyway I called Downey with my troubles, and they said they would exchange my system for the Cat back (which is bolt on), and pay for shipping to pick up the old exhaust and send the new exhaust. We'll see how well this works out!

Maybe enough people have bad mouth'd em and they are trying to change...who knows. I'm starting to realize though I think I just wasted $240! I should have just dropped the $100 for a stock exhaust and saved the other $140 towards lockers. Oh well, new-B mistakes.
