I got the Vortex by Cherry Bomb from Burtman Industries. Hes got a "view a video" link on the bottom of the page with the sound of it. I really like it, but have heard some say that they didn't. But thats why there are different companies.

what are you looking for, purely for sound, or any slight performance gain? The best for performace gain is a completly freeflowing muffler like magnaflow, or even summit has magnaflow knockoffs for cheap. For sound - its wide open.

im going for F@#$#@ LOUD! on my 1980 yota pickup 20R 4x4...it has a full flowtech system on it right now...(old and nasty lookin)..i have it unhooked at the headers..sounds nice..so i think im gonna go with a straight pipe..with a glasspack..probably from cherry bomb..GOD I LOVE IT LOUD!!!!!!!!! (just have to make sure that when i get my stereo system put in..that its louder than my exhaust )
EDIT: sorry for the hijack

Cheap muffler with lifetime warranty
I recently bought and installed a Bosal Cat back exhuast for my 97 runner 4x4
from www.autohausaz.com (Free Shipping)
Muffler assembley $129 PN 282-139
Tailpipe $55 PN 467-449
Gaskets $10 PN 256-282
Bolts & Washers at Advance Auto $7
The items were drop shipped from NJ.
Installed it myself, it was a PITA getting the bolts off with dremel.
Also dremeled the hanger arms off.
I like the Bosal exhuast (It's quiet)
The muffler assembly also has the bung for the 2nd O2 sensor
but you need to use bolts instead of the usual nuts.
If you can bolt off the OEM muffler assembly, you can
get away with just getting the Muffler and gaskets.
Check out the Bosal website, they have a parts diagram.
