engine swap question

engine swap question

would a motor from a 89 supra bolt right up to 89 toyota 4x4 4cylinder truck tranny with out any mods? any one has done this before?

nope a supra motor will not bolt right up to a truck

people on this site have done it, but it is not a bolt in swap, lots of custom fabrication and parts scavenging needs to be done

yes it WILL bolt up, as long as you have the normally aspirated supra bellhousing and are bolting to a 4cyl tranny. Thats what i have in my truck right now.

i dont know yet, i just drove it saturday for the first time and it was only for 10 seconds before i noticed the fuel leak. Its double the stock V6 horsepower so i dont see any way the Seat-O-Pants meter wont get to 9+ I'll update my website soon, i fixed the erratic idle from the movie on the front page, and everything is all tied up except for this stupid fuel line

from a mounting standpoint it's a complete bolt in swap if you have a 4 banger -- fitting it in there is the main issue

i'd have to add it up to make sure, but its $2k+. I'm very strict on buying the best of everything though. I've got $500 in my fuel system alone.
