engine light on......

Can someone tell me how to pull codes from a 92 4Runner w/3.0L V6? THanks!!

Yes, you need to open the hood and locate the little gray cap next to the fuse box. Open it and conect a jumper wire between terminals TE1 and E1

Thanks for the quick reply.

I seem to remember a way of checking fuel trim through the diag connector with a DVOM. 2.5v being normal (14.3) /5V being rich running/0V being lean running. Anyone remember the 2 terminals I need to jump??

BTW the codes I pulled are 14 and 25. Ignition signal and lean a/f ratio.

I was just thinking the other day that it's been a really long time since I've had to do anyhing to my truck but LOF's and brakes jobs (9 years + over 100K). Guess I jixed myself!!
