Hi, tonight I'm buying a 1997 Limited 2WD. This truck is in good shape, but I have one concern.

There is a ticking sound in the dash. It almost sounds like the turn signals are on, but they aren't. The signals work fine. When the lights are on all you notice is the ticking, but if you turn the lights off then you notice (along with the ticking) the dash lights dimming in rhythm with the ticking.

I'm curious if anyone has seen this and knows if it is a big serious deal or an easy fix?
