This happened to me...it felt fishy, so I forwarded it to eBay to verify... Turns out it was exactly what Mark said: a fake with spoofed headers...

Yup, happened to me too. Fake headers and all. Funny thing is, a good buddy of mine up in VA got the same email. The seller was trying to rip us off by 5000 each, but the seller didn't know we knew each other.
If an email from "ebay" is sent to me but doesn't have my username or real name, than I ignore it.
